‘Finding Your Way’ Series
There are moments in every life when the path disappears, when certainty fades, the landscape shifts, and we are left standing in the unknown. Finding Your Way is a reflection on those moments. It speaks to the quiet struggle of being lost, the courage it takes to keep moving, and the strength that emerges when we choose to continue, even without clear direction.
These works explore the universal human experience of searching - for meaning, for hope, for a way forward. They honour the people (and animals) who guide others through darkness, the inner voice that whispers to keep going, and the fragile yet persistent light that waits on the far side of difficulty. Within colour, form, and space lives a simple truth: we are capable of more than we know, and even the hardest journeys can lead us home to ourselves.
At its heart, this series is a reminder that life is not the absence of struggle, but the act of moving through it, with courage, with tenderness, and with the quiet belief that we can do hard things, and find our way again.

Finding your Way
(Sold)
Oil on canvas 900 × 900mm
Poem by Rachael Middlebrook
In darkest hush, no path in sight,
No star to guide, no flame, no light.
Yet still you step, though shadows stay
And with your step, begins the way.A glint will stir where doubt once grew,
The road unfolds beneath what’s true.
You need not see the journey’s end,
Just trust the dark, and take its hand -

The Passage
Oil on canvas 600 × 600mm
Poem by Rachael Middlebrook
Between the stars and morning’s glow,
we let you go, yet never go.
The path ahead is yours to roam,
but love will light the way from home.
A tribute to every dog who’s walked beside us, who loved us without condition, asked for nothing, and left their light behind to guide us home.
